Tucson Termite Inspections

A Tucson Termite Inspection should be done on any Tucson home you are buying. The general rule of thumb here in Tucson about Termites is: You either have them or you’re gonna get them.

If you are using the standard Residential Real Estate Purchase Contract you will have an inspection period included in the contract, typically 10 days. During this period it is important to have a Termite Inspection done in addition to any other inspections you are doing on your new Tucson home.

There are many Termite inspection companies in Tucson to choose from. To locate a good Termite Inspector in Tucson consider asking your Real Estate Agent for a referral. As Tucson Real Estate Agents we work with Termite inspectors in Tucson on a continual basis and can offer several recommendations for you.

We usually try to schedule the Termite Inspection to occur at the same time that the regular home inspection is taking place. That way we are all at the home anyway and don’t have to make a second trip back for each inspection.

We encourage all of our clients to accompany the Termite Inspector around the home as he does the inspection. You should feel free to ask any questions you may have during the inspection process.

The inspector will point out any problems they see and explain them to you. They will explain what routine maintenance is needed to keep the house free of termites and other pests and what to do if you see any evidence of termite activity.

A Termite Inspection Report will be prepared and forwarded to you within a couple of days. It will be easy to read and understand and everything identified during the inspection will be included in the report. If there is any evidence of Termite activity reported we will then ask for the appropriate repairs or eradication to be done when we submit our repair request to the sellers.

Remember the importance of a Tucson Termite Inspection and have it done during the inspection period identified in your purchase contract.

Other inspections that are commonly done are Tucson Home Inspections and Tucson Roof Inspections. While not as common, some people elect to have Tucson Radon Inspections or even sometimes Tucson Mold Inspections.

Some People have Tucson Structural Inspections or Tucson Pool Inspections. If there is a septic system serving the property a Tucson Septic Inspection must be completed.
